ROSSINI OPERA FESTIVAL

The Rossini Opera Festival is one of the most important music festivals on the European scene and is the only international event entirely dedicated to Gioachino Rossini.

The Rossini Opera Festival revives, studies and stages the composer’s musical legacy.

Gioachino Rossini was born in Pesaro in the year 1792.

Rof is scheduled in Pesaro from the 9th to the 20th of August 2009.

The operas that will be proposed this year are: Zelmira, La scala di seta and Le Comte Ory.
